Ko te kaupapa he tautoko i ngā huarahi e whakatinanahia ai tō mātou nei pepeha: ‘He aroha ki te tangata’.

The mission is to adhere to, articulate and advance our motto: ‘For the love of people through service’.

Ko te Tarati te pū o te wheke ki ngā āhuatanga Māori e haere ake ai ki roto i te rohe whānui o Te Whitianga o Kupe.

The Trust acts as a conduit connecting all things Māori to the people of the greater community of Whitianga.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to establish a marae complex that serves the wider Whitianga community as a centre for cultural, educational, and social development. We are committed to strengthening the community’s capacity to engage with the maramataka, uphold cultural practices across all life stages, and ensure the sustainability and succession of expert providers who carry forward our arts, traditions, and ancestral knowledge.
